If you changed industries tomorrow, would your audience follow you?
A strong personal brand travels with you. If your identity is tied to your current role or company, you risk losing your audience the moment your title changes.
Does your bio describe the transformation you create — not just your tasks or job title?
"I led marketing campaigns" tells people what you did. "I help founders grow revenue through localized marketing" tells them what you're worth.
Ask someone who does not know your work to look at your profile for five seconds, then close it. Could they tell you exactly who you help and why you are the one to do it?
Not your job title or CV — but the perspective you hold and the value you bring. If the answer is unclear to them, it is probably unclear to your audience too.

A lot of people post for the sake of posting. Sustainable growth requires defined pillars you can speak to with conviction — not just information you pass along.
Scroll through your last 10 posts right now. How many of them made someone stop, think, or respond with something more than a like?
Sharing useful information builds an audience. Sharing a perspective that challenges how people think builds a reputation. There is a real difference between the two.
In the past month, have you posted a hot take or an unpopular truth?
Playing it safe makes your content look like everyone else's. Standing out requires the courage to say something others won't.

How proactively are you commanding your presence — online and offline?

In the past 30 days, have you genuinely engaged with other people's content — not just posted your own?
Posting alone won't grow your network. Real engagement with others is what builds relationships and puts you in front of new audiences.
Think of the story you have been sitting on because it feels too personal, too messy, or not the right time. Have you shared anything close to that recently?
Real-life messiness is often your most magnetic content. If you keep your truth hidden, someone else will say it first and get the credit you deserve.
Be honest: when you post, does it feel like expression or obligation? Do you show up as yourself, or as the version of yourself you think people expect to see?
If showing up online feels like a performance, it will eventually feel unsustainable. A personal brand that works long-term sounds like you — not a polished persona you have to maintain.
